Girlfriend CMV negative while I am positive.

Hi KUKU I'm not an expert though from what I know only 20% of children affected by cmv have complications while 80% can be born with cmv and have nothing wrong with them. Also make sure you find out if the cmv in you system is active. Cmv is a viris so when in contact with it your body creates antibodies to fight it. Those antibodies remain when cmv leaves your body and can produce a cmv positive result when in fact you no longer have cmv, just the antibodies that fought it.Post edited by: Gods...
