I'm new to the forum but feel i can communicate with you on this topic. My partners granddaughter was born with cCMV last November and after she started anti viral meds she experienced white blood cell deficet. Our little angel had a lot of blood transfusions as well as other meds to combat the low white cell problem. It was found when the hospital stopped the meds for a period of time her white blood cell count would rise.
